Bilal Bin Jahanzeb is the Managing Partner at Aman Commodities, leading the firm's trading strategy, commercial execution, and global partnerships across key international markets. He plays a central role in shaping Aman's commercial direction and ensuring alignment between trading objectives and client needs.

With a background in telecommunications and business leadership across Scandinavia and Africa, alongside hands-on involvement in commodity exports, Bilal brings a strong track record in structuring cross-border deals and building strategic relationships. At Aman Commodities, he focuses on disciplined execution, targeted market expansion, and long-term value creation for partners and stakeholders.

Mohammad Faruque
Head of Operations

Mohammad Faruque

Mohammad Faruque is Head of Operations at Aman Commodities, overseeing trade support, settlements, and compliance screening for the firm's refined products activities. With over 15 years of experience at leading energy companies, he has managed large physical and financial settlements portfolios, led system implementations, and driven process improvements across front, middle, and back office operations.

He brings hands-on expertise with ETRM platforms, SAP, Oracle, and third-party screening tools, enabling accurate trade capture, timely invoicing, and robust control frameworks. Backed by a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston–Downtown and early technical and leadership experience in the United States Marine Corps and oilfield services, Mohammad focuses on operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-moving trading environment.

Sheliza Mohammed

Sheliza Mohammed is Global Head of Compliance at Aman Commodities, leading the design and implementation of the firm's global governance and regulatory framework across its trading and commercial activities. With over two decades of experience in risk, compliance, restructuring and advisory — including tenure within the Big 4 — she has advised organisations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East on regulatory alignment, operational resilience, and risk transformation in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.

At Aman Commodities, Sheliza embeds institutional-grade controls across counterparties, transactions, and jurisdictions, ensuring the business scales with discipline, transparency, and regulatory integrity. She brings a structured, institution-first mindset in which governance, control, and ethical conduct are not functions but foundations, guided by a clear philosophy: trust is not assumed — it is built, structured, and governed.
